Internships

The Institute accepts internships from students of Law, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Police Administration, and other allied subjects to Prison, Corrections and Police. We provide both short term and long term internships referring minimum two weeks internship and up to maximum eight weeks. Internship takes twice in a year, winter session- December to January, summer session- May to June. Interns will get first hand exposure to field situations and get an opportunity to develop an understanding on criminal justice system.

Interested students are advised to apply timely to secure their seat for the desired session.

Documents required to apply for the Internship:

  1. Student’s Curriculum Vitae (C.V)
  2. Recommendation/Permission letter from the respective University/Academic Institute
  3. A Passport-size photograph
  4. Copy of Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC)Latest examination passed

 

Note* The Institute provides only unpaid internships. Students are given certificate after successful completion of their internship tenure. The Institute provides hostel facility without food to the interns who may require it.
