The Institute has various facilities required for training of officers and allied prison related research projects. It is wide spread in four acres of land. It has a Seminar-cum-Lecture Hall having a capacity of 50 persons; Committee Room having a capacity of 20 persons, a Lounge for officers, 24 furnished hostel rooms with double occupancy, a library at the ground floor, and a vacant plot for outdoor activities.

About Library
The aim of the library is to make its resources available and useful to all the users. The ICA library has more than 2500 books on different subjects like Criminology,Psychology, Sociology, Law, Prison Manuals, Constitution of India, Correctional Administration, Police Issues, Women Issues, Children Issues, Human Rights, RTI, Social Work, Counselling, Health, Drugs and Substance Abuse, Human Trafficking, Cybercrime,Terrorism, Management, Research Methodology and Statistics, Self-Improvement, Stress Management, Fiction and Non-Fiction, Hindi Literature apart from other informative reading material.
